The PADI Deep Diver Specialty allows you to safely explore deeper dive sites and discover a whole new underwater world. Descend beyond the limits of standard recreational dives while learning the techniques, planning, and safety procedures required for deep diving.

With the guidance of a certified PADI Instructor, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence to safely dive to depths of up to 40 metres (130 feet).

Why should I take the PADI Deep Diver Specialty?

Many of the Red Sea's most spectacular reefs, walls, and wrecks lie beyond 18 metres. This specialty gives you the skills and confidence to safely explore deeper dive sites while understanding the additional considerations that come with deep diving.

Is deep diving dangerous?

Deep diving is safe when you have the proper training and follow established procedures. During the course, you'll learn how to plan your dives, monitor your gas supply, recognize the effects of depth, and dive within safe recreational limits.

Will this certification allow me to dive deeper anywhere in the world?

Yes. Once certified, you'll be qualified to conduct recreational dives to a maximum depth of 40 metres (130 feet), provided you dive within your experience level, local regulations, and environmental conditions.
